I discovered Decora fashion when I saw the posts of Cyber Girl-a really big Decora creator-on Pinterest. She was the first person I'd seen who wore Decora. It was around 2021 when I first wanted to dress like that, but being in Singapore, where this type of fashion is almost unheard of, I wasn't sure how to start. So, I started watching her videos, reading Decora articles and researching more about it.
Before I fully embraced Decora, my style was simple, leaning towards kidcore-think everything rainbow stripes. Back then, I believed that what I was wearing was the most I could do, and with the limited resources around me, I had to get creative.
A turning point came when my mother went to Japan and bought my first actual Decora-style clothes from ACDC Rag. I first did a full look during my first Harajuku Fashion Walk a few years ago.
