It has been a tradition at Blancpain since 2012 to reveal each year the Traditional Chinese Calendar watch under the Villeret collection. The circle is complete in this new year of 2023 with the launch of the 12th piece in the series for the rabbit zodiac sign.
Unlike most calendar watches in the market, which of course work with the Gregorian calendar, this Blancpain vibrates to a different measure. Its white grand feu enamel dial features three subdials that mark the passage of time in accordance with the Chinese system. The top one indicates time in the 12 double hours system; the left one is for Chinese date and month; and, the right one is dedicated the five elements and the 10 celestial pillars.
