The 50s are the new 30s – if Susanna Reid is anything to go by. The Good Morning Britain host, 53, is looking better than ever, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans.
‘What a gorgeous figure,’ one wrote underneath a recent Instagram snap, while someone else added, ‘Very slim.’ Another gushed, ‘You look amazing,’ and a fourth asked, ‘What are you doing to look so fantastic, beautiful lady?’
Susanna recently admitted that, while she doesn’t know how much weight she’s lost, she is feeling ‘better’. So, how exactly has she got in such good shape?
Enjoying exercise
Despite her slim physique, Susanna has admitted she’s ‘not particularly consistent’ with exercise. ‘I used to do Zumba, running and Peloton, but now the bike in my bedroom is used as a clothes horse,’ she said. ‘I do the gym occasionally and sometimes use dumbbells and a kettlebell at home, because we’re told we have to maintain our muscles. But to motivate you, exercise should be something you enjoy.’
And, following her stint on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2013, the presenter still occasionally keeps dancing, too. ‘Sometimes I go on to YouTube and find a dance workout to do in the kitchen,’ she revealed. ‘That channels back into Strictly, which I loved, and which changed my life. Strictly led me to Good Morning Britain. It gave me that nudge outside my comfort zone and made people see me in a different way. It was also a really successful way of keeping fit!’
