There are the right kind of tendencies called Aklishta and the wrong ones I called Klishta tendencies. The theory is that we are dominated by the undesirable tendencies. If we honestly try to look into ourselves, we find such things like fear, anxiety, irritation, which are quite strong. In fact, most of the time, these are our thoughts and feelings.
So far as the contrary kind of tendencies are concerned, where you are thinking about God, creating positivity or positive thinking, they are very little. Naturally, the result is that the Vrittis (fluctuations) that are flowing are also of those kinds, such as trying to run away from situations, telling lies, and the like. These undesirable tendencies create their consequences.
When one wrong thing is done, it has to be backed up. So on the whole, they are the cause of much misery.
The simple suggestion is that you try to build up the right kind of tendencies. A little bit of faith, a little bit of clarity can be built up as they are very very less.
