Ghee is considered as the finest food in Ayurveda for use in and out, and for rituals like Yajna.
An Ayurveda therapist checked his patient's colon, now as dry as a drought-stricken, barren land, and immediately put him on the 'Ghee therapy, which meant Ghee for internal consumption and outer application. Before serving Sabji, or Roti/chapati, or Dal a teaspoonful of Ghee was added, well mixed with the food, and voila, the patient who disliked Dal, slurped it up, to the therapist's delight.
