Has it ever crossed your mind that our soles are our shoes? The first time it struck me was when, long back, the famous artist M F Hussain entered a hotel barefoot and was denied entry. "What...?" I had thought. It got me thinking, why do we have to wear any shoes at all? So, for the last ten or twelve years, I have been trying barefoot walking on and off, whenever I remember or feel the need.
Back in 2014, I was going through extreme social anxiety during a project. It was a big production house and the stakes were high. Attending meetings in the office or talking to bosses would cause anxiety and my tendency would be to avoid such situations. But I couldn't!
