Pumpkin leaves and seeds are also useful in making medicines. In South India and Bengal, pumpkin flowers are used to make curries and deep fried savouries.
Ingredients:
4pumpkin flowers available in Indian vegetable market on inquiring)
2 glasses of water
3 tsp candy sugar
1/2 tsp rocksalt
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp saunf powder
Method:
Remove petals, wash them and soak them in the water for one hour.
Blend the mixture and sieve.
Add all the other ingredients and blend well.
Serve cool.
