While at first glance this stunning Florida home looks like a new build, it was actually a major renovation project for a family of five from Dallas. "Originally it was just going to be a smaller renovation, but after 2020, the family decided to change their plan," says JuliAnne Kelly, the owner and principal interior designer behind Carrier Design Co. in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
JuliAnne and her team joined the project at the earliest stages, something they specialize in.
"When we started the project with them, they really gave us the reins," JuliAnne says. "They trusted our opinions to make sure that it was cohesive." The goal was to create a house for entertaining and indoor-outdoor living that combined the family's previous home state aesthetic with their new home. "They're from Texas, and they wanted a house that felt like Texas meets Florida," she says.
