For architect Alireza Razavi, materials are key. In creating the sinuous, sensual curves of his interiors, he selects finishes that appeal to both the eye and the touch, crafting cosseting spaces you want to spend time in, curled up with a good book, mellow tunes in the background, glass of wine in hand.
This Paris apartment is no different, although it presented challenges of its own. The family who asked Alireza to design it had seen his studio’s work in a similar space and felt he could bring his unique style to this property. Despite being in a historic building, the project offered a clean slate.
