In this episode of The FINtastic Talks with Sanjiv Bajaj, we had a special guest, Mr. Satishwar Balakrishnan, MD and CEO, Bandhan Life (formerly Aegon Life Insurance). Mr. Satishwar Balakrishnan is the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Bandhan Life (formerly Aegon Life Insurance), India's first digital-only life insurance company. He joined the company in July 2019 as its Chief Financial Officer. A brand-new vision has been defined under his leadership, to be a pioneer in digital insurance and be at the forefront of the digital insurance wave by using technology to redefine how the company does business. Mr. Balakrishnan has over two decades of experience spread across insurance and financial industries. Before joining Bandhan Life (formerly Aegon Life Insurance), he was associated with IndiaFirst Life Insurance and also worked with Reliance Life and ICICI Prudential. He is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and holds a Bachelor's degree from Mumbai University.
