CELEBRATING THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY of its founding in 2021, Parmigiani Fleurier paid tribute to its heritage with the most ambitious watch restoration project in its history: the exceptional Louis-Elysée Piguet calibre (no. 5802), which was acquired by Michel Parmigiani in the late 1990s and tucked away in a drawer for future restoration, now housed in a grand sonnerie pocket watch. Today, on the birthday of its namesake founder Michel Parmigiani, the brand reveals the first creation in this collection: La Rosa Celeste.
La Rose Carrée honours Parmigiani's dedication to restoration, now evolved into the Collection Les Roses Carrées, a series composed of five unique minute-repeater pieces emblematic of the pinnacle of the House he founded. For his 72nd birthday, it marks an epic milestone in the "Collection Grand Feu" with its first model, La Rosa Celeste, a 42 mm white gold minute repeater with Grand Feu enamel, hand-engraved surfaces and a skeletonised minute repeater calibre with cathedral gongs.
