IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A NEW PLACE to spend time dining with your family or loved ones, Bistro Léa is an option worth exploring. Nestled in the vibrant neighbourhood of Sri Hartamas, Bistro Léa introduces Malaysians to the charm of wholesome French food.
Led by chef-owner KaHong Lau, this newly opened bistro blends the tradition of French bistros with the comfort and warmth of modern hospitality. Upon entering the space, can expect to be transported to a cosy, midcentury Parisian bistro. This is thanks to the interior design that incorporates warm walnut panels, soft lighting, and subtle feminine accents to create a nostalgic yet contemporary atmosphere.
Simply put, the little restaurant is the ideal spot for an intimate and relaxing meal. For those who prefer a more romantic dining under the stars, the bistro also features an al-fresco seating area within a lush courtyard garden.
As a visual centrepiece, a French fountain provides a tranquil backdrop, making this enchanting space ideal for both casual meals and special celebrations.
Bistro Léa's motto is 'A Taste of French Wholesomeness, Crafted with Care.' This is a guaranteed sign that whoever steps into the bistro will have their tastebuds delighted and satisfied.
Bistro Léa offers a variety of quintessential and classic French dishes. During my first visit to this quaint eatery, I was served a total of nine scrumptious dishes. In true French dining fashion, warm bread and butter was served first to work up the appetite.
