WHAT’S THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING PART OF THIS THRILLING SOUTH AFRICAN SERIES?
We have an incredible team of people on this show. If you visit our set, you’ll feel it instantly. I think Reyka is a remarkably well-written with highly developed characters, and each character is unique – a distinctive, individualised personality that’s relatable to audiences across the globe. I must say, though, that our screenwriter, Rohan Dickson, is phenomenal! So, good writing is our springboard. The subject matter is extremely sensitive and complex, and our team of producers and directors understand this. It just is a labour of love for us all. There are also a lot of strong females in the cast who I think all have an element of that strong, beautiful Reyka in them. I hope the audience loves Season 2, which is coming out soon, because we loved making it.
FOR SEASON 2, WAS IT DIFFICULT GETTING BACK INTO THE ‘REYKA PSYCHE’?
