Dulwich College (Singapore) is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary – and Founding Head NICK MAGNUS has been there from the start! He gives us a peek into his working life and the special events planned for the school’s big year.

Where are you from originally?
I’m from Tavistock, a small market town on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon. I miss the expansive open spaces and the cooler weather, particularly the refreshing winds on a day out on the Moor.
What brought you to Singapore, and where had you been living previously?
I arrived in 2012 to serve as the Founding Head of the College. I came with Sonia, my wife, and our daughter and son (now 18 and 16). Before Singapore, I was the Head of an international school in China for five and a half years, in Kenya for eight and a half years, and, before that, in the UK.
