
WITH A FAMILY NAME like Bosshard, Rado's CEO seems like he was predestined to bag the top job. The Swatch Group veteran has more than earned his stripes. Having taken the reins at Rado two years ago, Bosshard has navigated the company past the choppy currents of a global pandemic to safe and bountiful harbours-India being one of them. "One of the reasons Rado is so firmly rooted in the Indian market is because we were one of the first Swiss watch brands to set up shop here in the early 2000s," Bosshard recalls, over a Zoom interaction. And if his sunny disposition is anything to go by, the Indian market can't get its hands on Rados quickly enough this year. "We've already surpassed our sales figures from 2019," he adds jubilantly.
