How Anuv Jain Became India's Buzziest Musician

ANUV JAIN, IN PERSON, is a lot like an Anuv Jain song: sweet, lovestruck, and wistful. He's also a little impetuous, having decidedly chosen not to release an album yet, despite delivering nine highly successful singles. Yet these nine singles have been enough to help him grow a dedicated fanbase of over 4 million monthly Spotify listeners, a highly coveted YouTube Creator award, and a spot on GQ's list of the Most Influential Young Indians of 2023. Jain blew up during the lockdown, his songs touching a chord when people needed it the most; "Baarishein", his breakout track with 56 million YouTube views and 115 million streams on Spotify, is what put him on the map.
