ON A SUNNY Barcelona morning, leaning out of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla's saddle while exiting a corner, I can't, for the life of me, remember why I don't ride motorcycles as often as I can. Granted that the riding conditions here, on the B-roads snaking their way around the city's mountainous periphery, are exceptionally perfect. The tarmac features an intoxicating mix of banked turns; long, sweeping sections; and troughs and dips that send your adrenaline and dopamine levels overflowing from their respective neurological receptacles. But I am reminded of my own Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 that lies forlorn in a basement, waiting for the Mumbai monsoon to end.
