My heart is where the sea is and the allure of the South of France has left an incredible mark upon my heart. Its clear skies, sunlit days, and blue gem waters create a realm where reality fuses with dreams. Humble abodes painted with colours seemed to breathe life itself into every street. The cobblestone pathways lead with a promise of delightful discoveries awaiting around each corner. Countryside here is not just a testament to nature, but a place where air whispers tales of serenity.

I took a flight with Air France from Paris to Nice, and I was at the Côte d'Azur in a jiffy. Greeted by the hue of blue, I was in love with Nice already. People were riding bicycles, sailing, windsurfing, swimming at the beach, or just simply basking in the sun. The destination has a carefree spirit, everyone was out here to surrender to an eternal summer's day. I was on my way to Antibes, a charming place between Cannes and Nice, to check in to the legendary hotel- Hotel du CapEden-Roc, Oetker Collection's luxury hotel.

Nestled on the tip of Cap d'Antibes, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc is undoubtedly one of Europe's most exquisite properties. Combining intimacy and grandeur, my suite had timeless interiors in soft blues, a coffee table by Alberto Giacometti, and original artwork throughout. Seaside cabanas, green lush gardens, an iconic pool, newly opened Dior Spa, and Michelin starred restaurant, this hotel gives a new definition to luxury. Sunsets here are majestic, and I had the privilege of dining overlooking one. After a hearty dinner at Louroc restaurant, it was time for me to call it a day.
