Singapore boasts a plethora of midrange phone options, and among them are the noteworthy Google Pixel 7a, Poco F5 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G. Now joining the lineup is Samsung’s latest addition to the Galaxy A series, the Samsung Galaxy A54. Priced at just $588, this phone offers several flagship-worthy features, including a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP primary camera, IP67rated protection, and a large 5,000mAh battery. First and foremost, the Galaxy A54 finally resembles a Samsung flagship device. With consistent design language across the Galaxy series, the differences between the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy S23 or S23+ are now minimal. The Galaxy A54 features a glossy Gorilla Glass 5 back, while the S23 series employs frosted Gorilla Glass Victus 2, giving the flagship series a more premium look and feel. This is an upgrade from its predecessor, the Galaxy A53, which had a plastic back. The A54 also utilises a plastic frame, while the S23 and S23+ employ aluminium. Additionally, it comes in vibrant colours like Awesome Lime and Awesome Violet, in addition to the standard black and white options.
