Although they come from different fields, this year’s Her World Women of the Year winners have not only excelled in Singapore and abroad, they have also touched the hearts of Singaporeans with their impact on our communities.

The accomplishments of both women were celebrated at the Her World Women of the Year 2024 gala dinner, held on Oct 14 at the JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach. Guest-of-honour Ms Jane Ittogi attended the event, along with nearly 200 guests, including top creatives in arts and culture, entrepreneurs and industry leaders.

CELEBRATING CHANGEMAKERS

Justice Judith Prakash, part of a pioneering group of women who have established themselves as legal giants in the Singapore Courts, was named Her World Woman of the Year 2024. She has inspired future generations of women aspiring to build a career in law, and played a crucial role in positioning Singapore as a key global arbitration hub.

In her acceptance speech, Justice Prakash recalls making a beeline to the newsstands to get the latest edition of Her World growing up.
