Goa's agricultural landscape has historically been a cornerstone of its culture and economy. However, with rapid urbanization and changes in lifestyle, farming in Goa has seen a decline in interest among the younger generation. Yet, modern advancements and sustainable practices offer an opportunity for young Goans to play a significant role in revitalizing the state's farming traditions.

Challenges in Goan Agriculture:

Urbanization: Many traditional farmlands have been converted into residential or commercial properties, reducing the availability of agricultural land.

Aging Farmer Population: The older generation continues to practice farming, but there is a visible lack of interest among the youth in taking up agriculture as a career.
