India offers incredible road trip experiences with its diverse landscapes and vibrant destinations. From bustling cities to serene hill stations and lively villages, every part of the country provides unforgettable memories. While the prospect of travelling in a downpour might seem daunting, it also offers an experience like no other. So, take advantage of the off-season rates, grab a couple of friends and head out; here's a list of incredible routes that can be covered in under a day for a quick retreat, or be stretched out into a weeklong escapade through the countryside:

Bangalore to Ooty

Heading away from Bengaluru's incessant traffic and into the 'Queen of the Nigiris' might be the perfect getaway for anyone looking for some peace without too much of a time commitment. While you can cruise nonstop and enjoy Mandya's many waterfalls, and Bandipur Forest's winding roads and wildlife sightings on the way, we recommend staying a night at either Mysuru or Gundlupete while the former's cultural and historic attractions are well known, the latter's endless fields of flowers offer one of the most breathtaking yet underrated photo-ops you can find in the South.
