Before the advent of smartphone cameras, people would carry bulky DSLR and several lenses to shoot for vacations. Gradually, when smartphone camera technology got better, it took over as the main device to journalise travelogues. Today, a pocket gimbal camera like the Osmo Pocket 3 would be an ideal still and video camera to document life. It actually appears less intrusive because the system is slim and less conspicuous compared to holding a smartphone. Furthermore, mounting a smartphone on a separate gimbal makes the entire set-up even more obvious.
