Azure Kubernetes Service on Azure Stack HCI (AKS-HCI) is a Kubernetes-based orchestrator that automates the execution of containerised applications on Azure Stack HCI clusters. Open-source orchestrators like Kubernetes automate much of the work involved in deploying and managing multiple containers. Kubernetes, on the other hand, can be difficult to set up and maintain. AKS-HCI simplifies the installation of Kubernetes on-premises, making it easier to get started hosting Linux and Windows containers.
