Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have shared a relationship that’s held Hollywood’s – and the world’s – curiosity for almost four decades.

The couple, who met in 1966 on the set of The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band, didn’t officially get together until 1983, after they had ended their respective marriages.

Despite the longevity of their second-chance romance, neither Kurt nor Goldie, parents to adult son Wyatt, has ever given in to pressure to tie the knot. They’ve happily marched to the beat of their own drum, sans wedding licence – until now.

Over the past few months the pair has fallen out of step with one another, with a well-placed insider telling New Idea that a “noticeable switch” seems to have occurred.

“They’ve been like teenagers in love ever since they got together, much to the jealousy of some of their less lucky-in-love friends,” says the close source.
