THEIR TICKET TO PARADISE CAME WITH SOME DRAMA

Karl Stefanovic so desperately missed his globe-trotting adventures after three years of lockdowns, that he, wife Jasmine, and their 2-year-old daughter Harper, wasted no time jetting off on a five-star trip to one of their favourite destinations.

But no sooner had the family arrived at Kokomo private island in Fiji did trouble hit paradise.

Karl shared a loved-up photo of himself and Jasmine swimming in the ocean to Instagram, with the shirtless Today host wearing his goggles upside down.

Ever the larrikin, Karl captioned the happy snap: “This woman is seriously punching above her weight” – but it seems his humour was lost on some.

In the comments sections, many dragged Karl’s appearance. Meanwhile, Jasmine, 38, was mocked for giving her designer Loewe hat a “repeat appearance”. “$700 for a bucket hat – sheesh,” sniped one.

Sources say Karl, 48, was, understandably, annoyed at the diatribe directed at them.
