KEEP YOUR FUR BABIES HAPPY AND WHOLESOME WITH THIS HANDY GUIDE
Pet friendly FOODS

We all love our furry friends and want to keep them as healthy as possible, and that includes providing them with a nutritious diet. PETstock veterinarian Dr Kathy Macmillan shares her advice on the best foods to feed your pet.

WHAT TO AVOID

Dr Macmillan recommends steering clear or limiting intake of the following:

Dairy - Adult dogs and cats are lactose intolerant.

Chocolate - Dark and cooking are most toxic.

Nuts - Such as macadamias, cashews and pistachios.

Avocados - The pit is the main issue in dogs and cats.

Grapes - Includes any dried derivative such as raisins.
