EMBRACING A NEW CHAPTER HAS THE RUGBY LEAGUE GREAT SMILING
WALLY LEWIS 'MY LIFE AFTER DIVORCE'

Despite being rugby league legend whose on-field exploits intimidated opponents and earned him the moniker The King', Wally Lewis' greatest achievements are far more personal - his children and grandchildren.

"The best days of my life were the births of my three children: Mitchell, Lincoln and Jamie-Lee," Wally, 62, reveals in a new interview with DARE magazine. "Each time I saw that baby wrapped and handed to their mother, I bawled my eyes out!

"I've been through some pretty rough times on the footy field, but what women go through in childbirth you really appreciate their role enormously."

In 2020, Wally quietly split from wife Jacqui after 36 years of marriage. He then began a romance with American author Lynda Adams.
