THE PAIR COULDN'T ESCAPE THE SEVEN-YEAR ITCH

SofÍa Vergara’s divorce from Joe Manganiello was seen coming a mile away by their closest friends (as well as all of Hollywood!), who insist that the writing had been on the wall for some time.

The couple confirmed on July 18 via a statement to Page Six that they had made the “difficult decision” to part ways after seven years of marriage.

The announcement came following weeks of speculation that the pair weren’t in a good place. The most recent clue that a split might be imminent was a lacklustre social media post Joe shared for SofÍa’s 51st birthday on July 10. He uploaded a very poor-quality image of them together with a basic caption that said “Happy Birthday SofÍa” in her native Spanish.

He was also noticeably absent from her birthday festivities in Italy.

While Joe stayed home in LA, SofÍa made the most of the European summer, celebrating another trip around the sun with her girlfriends, enjoying dinner parties and lots of dancing.
