Meticulously crafted with the utmost care and attention, the breathtaking L’Armoriale pocket watch from Parmigiani Fleurier is not only inspired by art, it’s an undisputed work of art unto itself.
“This masterpiece invites us to lose ourselves in the labyrinths of the Palazzo Te, to feel the essence of the Renaissance, and to celebrate the extraordinary journey of Michel Parmigiani,” remarked Guido Terreni, CEO Parmigiani Fleurier.
Interestingly, the inspiration for this project stems from a journey undertaken by the CEO—into the northern region of Italy—which explored not only Michel Parmigiani’s origins but also the architectural wonders of that area. Among the places visited was the Palazzo Te, in Mantua, a Renaissance-era royal palace at the crossroads of Milan, Genoa, and Venice. It brought to mind the founder’s passion for architecture, nature, and the golden ratio, and so it felt only natural to take these influences and channel them into the creation of an exceptional pocket-sized timepiece.
