While many of her peers might be sprinting to get ahead in their careers, investment property consultant Dayna Ang takes the marathoner's approach of pacing herself for the long distance. Between meeting the demands of her career in real estate, she quietens over yoga, unwinds at golfing greens and diving haunts, and gets her adrenaline rush from tennis and surfing. Ang also takes time out to connect with those close to her heart, as part of her commitment to a life that is not just successful, but also enriching and health-focused.
Her wisdom is derived from lived experience, having been drained by a professional life in the fast lane during the nascent stages of her career. From one who associated self-care with maintaining one's appearance as a student, she came to see it as a holistic strategy for long-term well-being.
She is now mindful of how her actions and decisions impact her physical, mental, and spiritual health, and builds her self-care routine on the philosophy that rest is necessary in order to journey farther.
