The black leather pouch that Winnie Chan is unzipping for me is already distinct for its imprinted Mandarin characters. For English speakers, it's what's printed inside that will amuse "Blood Sweat Money", the last word replacing "tears" in a twist to the common saying. The bag was created by Goodstuph founder Pat Law, one of 15 creatives collaborating with boutique stationery and leather gift brand Bynd Artisan for its 10th anniversary showcase. Winnie is taking me on a tour of Bynd's first store at Chip Bee Gardens. Anyone walking in today may not know from its immaculate layout and freshly muralled facade that the brand, of which Chan is co-founder, is actually moving our of the location.
