What does tech hold for the future of haircare?

Hair styling tools have come on leaps and bounds in the last decade. Long gone are the days of simple brushes – now, it’s all about all-in-one hair stylers. But having tried my fair share of stylers, I’m left wondering if the hair industry has gone too far with its technology and whether we need to go back to basics.

While hair dryers, straighteners and curlers have always been popular in salons, on catwalks and in the home, the biggest development over the past few years has been all-in-one or wet-to-dry stylers. The main cause of this is Dyson throwing its hat into the ring and developing its own line of hair care in 2012.
