Basking in the Glory: Mr. Sunil Gandhi proprietor of Gandhi Selections

Mr. Sunil Gandhi was born in Karol Bagh in a financially poor family. His father started a tailoring business. Since his school days, he shared family responsibilities. He went to DAV school on foot to and fro and after returning from school he attended his father’s business by going to the shop and doing odd jobs like serving water to the customers, supplying things in the workshop, and so on.

They had a family business, his father and uncle worked together. He went to Dayal Singh College and also supported his father in his business. They were settling, but an emergency forced them to vacant the shop as the workers refused to work there. They hired a commercial shop at Karol Bagh and continued their business. He was 18 by then and suffered a tragedy in the form of loss of his father. He had an elder brother and three younger siblings. It was a difficult time to fulfil the needs of the family. Somehow they managed the situation and purchased a shop at Karol Bagh with their uncle.
