From pavé diamonds to a kaleidoscope of coloured gems, these watches are designed to impress at a glamorous ball

Razzle Dazzle

Diamonds are forever, a fact that was brilliantly evident at Watches & Wonders in March. Dazzling in a myriad of settings, these precious gems stole the limelight from Chanel to Van Cleef & Arpels, elevating the timepieces they adorned to an ultra-glamorous sheen. When paired with coloured gems, the result is even more breathtaking.

There was a surprising large number of jewel-set pieces at the Geneva watch fair this year (even Japanese stalwart Grand Seiko showcased a Masterpiece Collection Spring Drive 8-Day watch dressed up in diamonds and sapphires), but here are five that stand out for their design, creativity, and overall bewitching quality.
