SIZZLING SENSATIONS

KAGAYAKI BY ISHIGAKI YOSHIDA

Prepare to be enthralled by the sizzling theatrics at this teppanyaki omakase restaurant. Renowned as the first chef-owned teppanyaki establishment in Tokyo to be awarded a Michelin star, chef Junichi Yoshida’s expertise is showcased through the skilled hands of head chef Nobuyasu Kamiko at the Singapore offshoot. Exclusive to Kagayaki, the omakase menu boasts the Masuda Kagayaki beef, making it the sole Southeast Asian restaurant to offer this culinary treasure. A standout dish is the ultimate crispy yaki steak (pictured above), prepared by delicately cooking the beef at a low temperature on the teppan and then grilling it over the coveted ubame oak Tosa binchotan. This rare binchotan variety imparts an alluring smoky aroma, elevating the dining experience at Kagayaki to new heights.
