Deanna, 33, Wallsend, NSW*
Paul and I dated when we were teenagers at the same high school.
After three years together, we split up. Paul went off to uni and I decided to travel overseas. I planned to get a job in the UK and then travel in Europe.
On my first day in London, I met a man named Mark when I got lost trying to find Buckingham Palace.
'I'd love to show you around my city,' he said in a charming English accent.
We had a great time seeing Convent Garden, Trafalgar Square, and the Tower of London. At the end of the day as we sat in Piccadilly Circus, he kissed me.
'Stay with me tonight,' he whispered.
I couldn't resist!
After an amazing meal and a few drinks, we went back to his place. I was on cloud nine as I fell into his arms.
The next morning when I woke up, he'd already left for work. There was just a note saying thanks.
