Nairobi
Nairobi, known as the safari capital of Kenya, is the only capital city in the world with a national park. It offers a unique blend of modernity, and tradition, and avoiding this city is almost impossible.
For a blissful stay and great adventure, we chose to stay with Fairmont Norfolk at Nairobi which is a 118-year-old property. Fairmont Norfolk is set in well-manicured gardens just 3 km from the city centre, close to the historic Nairobi Train Station.
It remains one of East Africa's most popular bases for luxury wildlife safaris. Nairobi literally grew up around Norfolk. It is said that without the Norfolk hotel there might not have been Nairobi. Nairobi became a city in 1899 and just five years later Norfolk was built. Their popular restaurants Lord Delamere Terrace restaurant and Cin Cin Garden Terrace which offer both international and authentic Kenyan cuisine and is a magical spot. This hotel has all bases covered, and best of all it is a beautiful, tranquil spot in the heart of the city in which to rest, relax and immerse yourself in East African culture.
A few suggestions to look around in Kenya.
1. Kenya National Archives: Which showcases everything from traditional art to stamps, weapons, and photography.
2. Kenya National Museum: Next on the list was the museum and national monument in the heart of Kenya’s bustling capital, Nairobi Art Gallery. We saw contemporary art from Kenya and across Africa in the gallery housed in a historic building that goes back to 1913.
3. Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage: A place which rescues, raises, and protects elephants before they are strong enough to live in the wild.

BABY ROVER
The Range Rover Evoque has always been one good-looking car. It is compact and sharp, and manages to capture the essence of the big Rangie but in a smaller size. Now, for 2024, there's a bit of a makeover. The usual stuff- a style update and a spruced-up interior. What caught my eye is the new Autobiography trim, taking cues from its inspiration. But the one we're cruising in is the Dynamic SE, which turns things a bit more sporty.
