THE MACALLAN M COLLECTION — THE EMBODIMENT OF INCOMPARABLE CRAFTSMANSHIP
The PEAK Singapore|August 2022
WITH NEW CRYSTAL DECANTERS AND A UNIQUELY ARTISTIC CAMPAIGN, THE 2022 EDITIONS — INCLUDING THE NEW M COPPER — REPRESENT THREE OF THE MACALLAN’S SIX PILLARS.
THE MACALLAN M COLLECTION — THE EMBODIMENT OF INCOMPARABLE CRAFTSMANSHIP

To make their spirits unique, whisky makers usually follow some philosophy or guidebook. In the case of The Macallan, that ethos is known as The Six Pillars.

The Speyside distillery's acclaimed single malts are all distinguished by Natural Colour, Mastery, Curiously Small Stills, The Estate, Exceptional Oak Casks and Sherry Seasoning.

The Macallan, which has dedicated past limited releases to each pillar to educate and celebrate them, has just unveiled the 2022 editions. The M, M Black, and brand-new M Copper, are created in honour of The Macallan's pillars of Natural Colour, Mastery, and Curiously Small Stills respectively.

The Macallan M is a champion for its whiskies' natural amber hue. Though Scotch-making laws allow for some caramel colouring to be added to whisky to achieve consistency, the distillery has defiantly chosen to let its spirits show off their original intensities. These colours come from the casks the spirits are aged in and are thus an homage to the time the liquids spent in contact with the wood.
