Fortunately, the new year is filled to the brim with exciting new games that promise to make 2023 the biggest year yet for gaming. Here are the seven games we cannot wait to play in 2023.
Dead Space Remake
One of the scariest games ever made is finally getting its long-awaited remake as publisher EA finally returns to the 2008 horror classic Dead Space. It’s been quite a few years since we have seen any news regarding the Dead Space franchise and although it’s not a brand-new game in the series, seeing a fully-fledged remake of the original classic is welcome news. Once again you play as Isaac Clarke, an engineer who finds himself trapped on the USG Ishimura, a massive ship that has gone dark and filled with alien horrors. Although the story remains largely unchanged, this remake brings jaw-dropping visual fidelity, suspenseful atmospheric audio, and improvements to gameplay. From the frighteningly detailed rooms and workspaces of a slaughtered crew to the eerie atmospheric sounds of a desolate spaceship, you’ll explore a stunning sci-fisetting full of unpredictable and tense moments without interruption. The remake promises to take the original Dead Space experience and take it to fantastic new levels and it’s an experience we can’t wait for.
