With the increase in AI models that generate art, complex business models, and AI learning, the future of AI is here now. In November 2022, OpenAI released a beta of its ChatGPT learning model, which uses a variant of the transformer architecture to generate human-like text, and has since taken the world by storm. The model is trained on a large dataset of text data and has the ability to understand and generate text in a wide variety of contexts. In layman’s terms, it’s an AI-driven chatbot that can reply to your questions in a very convincing and human way. So naturally, we decided to ask ChatGPT a few questions to see just how accurate this machine-learning model is. (The following text was taken verbatim from our interactions with ChatGPT)
What are you?
I am an AI language model developed by OpenAI. My main function is to generate human-like text based on the input I receive. I have been trained on a vast amount of text data and have learned patterns and structures of human language. When I receive a prompt, I use the patterns and structures that I’ve learned to generate a coherent and fluent response. I can be used for a variety of tasks such as language translation, text summarization, and conversation simulation. However, my responses are not based on my own knowledge or understanding, but rather on patterns and structures that I’ve learned from the data I was trained on. My abilities are limited to the information that I have been exposed to and I may not be able to answer certain questions or provide information that is not included in my training data. Additionally, I am constantly being updated and fine-tuned with new data and techniques to improve my performance.
