AUDI UPSCALES ITS ALL-ELECTRIC SUV TO THE HIGHEST NUMBER

Audi likes sticking the e-tron badge on anything electric but while the brand gains the Q8 e-tron for the first time, it also drops the regular e-tron from the range, which also happened to be Audi’s first mainstream EV. 

There are two flavors for now; the regular Q8 e-tron which is chuffing quick to begin with and the SQ8 e-tron which is chuffing-er quicker. Also two bodystyles; regular and sportback which in principle mimics the Cayenne and the Cayenne coupe approach. It’s not just a subjective taste thing either, the sportback models have a slightly improved range because of their more aerodynamic shape.
