TC ELECTRONIC PLETHORA X3 TONEPRINT PEDALBOARD
A more compact version of the X5 multi-effects pedal, the X3 has all the same effects onboard, but its 127 presets (known as ‘pedalboards’) give access to three footswitchable effects at one time. There’s a choice of 16 effects available to assign to each of the footswitches – either different pedals or multiples of the same type – and each pedal can be loaded with a TonePrint (basically an edited set of parameters) from those stored onboard. Its small footprint makes it an ideal way to add multiple pedals to your rig in one go. Alternatively, you’d only need to add your own dirt pedal to have a completely portable, self-contained minimalist rig.
