INDIA-DENMARK PARTNERSHIP: PAVING THE WAY FOR GREEN INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABLE GROWTH

Today, both countries are looking for ways to work together and increase areas of collaboration, mutual exchanges, and strategic and business linkages.

The 400-year-old India-Denmark bilateral economic partnership strives to strengthen existing ties to face the enormous problem of climate change and deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals. Measures such as the India-Denmark Joint Action Plan for 2021-26 have also been put in place to facilitate Green Strategic Partnership implementation. The India-Denmark Energy Partnership (INDEP) is the centerpiece of India and Denmark's government-to-government energy cooperation. More than 140 Danish firms are operating in India, bringing scientific know-how and business potential, which has resulted in a mutually beneficial interest in science, technology, and digitalization. Green energy parks and skill institutions have been proposed for the establishment throughout the country where Danish enterprises are present.
