Keeping it Simple

Even as actress Disha Patani awaits the release of one her career's biggest films, she remains grounded, insisting that much like her style mantra, her life philosophy remains unfussy.

Keeping it Simple

Disha Patani knows a thing or two about survival. The Bareilly girl started her Bollywood journey with a bang landing a supporting part in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016). It wasn’t long before the tall, lean actress caught attention. Since then, she has seen her share of highs (Baaghi 2, Malang) and lows (Radhe, Ek Villain Returns, Yodha). 2024 may just shape up as the year she wanted all along. Later this month, Patani scores the biggest win of her career with the release of the sci-fi action drama Kalki 2898 AD, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. Her Tamil-language debut film, Kanguva, with Surya is slated for release later this year.

“Highs and lows are pretty common in the profession I belong to, but I think the one quality that you need to survive is patience, a lot of patience,” says Patani. “The journey towards success can be long and unpredictable, so staying grounded and patient helps you navigate the ups and downs without losing sight of your goals.”
