I was there for the start-up of local TV companies, right through to travelling the world filming sports events. I’ve worked for major broadcasters including ITV, Sky Sports and the BBC. I have been in and out of newsrooms, been on film sets, and even filmed prime ministers and royalty.
I love my work and I love the medium of film and television.
However, one thing that I’ve noticed, more so now than ever, is just how easy it is to manipulate and steer an audience. Through a few simple techniques, your opinion may be swayed, influenced or even infiltrated.
This was my motivation to make the documentary Tell-Lie-Vision.
Today, people watch television for dozens of hours each week. It could be said that this has been, and still continues to be, one of the most trusted means of communication.
