He said: “Over the last three years we’ve had two promotions from Gloucestershire 2 into Gloucestershire 1 and then into Counties 2 Tribute Gloucestershire, which is basically the old Gloucestershire Premier that we used to be in.
“When I was a colt and not old enough to play for the 1s, they were in this league. A load of players left and the first team was left with a colts team who were all 17.
