The new seven-storied Ahmedabad Police Commissioner's office at the police headquarters in Shahibaug will finally be inaugurated on October 3 by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The building's inauguration comes after some hiccups in interior outfitting and tender floating. Earlier DGP Vikas Shay had said that the office could be inaugurated after July but now the department has given the exact date of inauguration.
