A hmedabad Police have nabbed conman Bharat Chhabra (in pic), 34, from Haryana who posed as a PMO official and even as a high-ranking official of several law enforcement agencies to dupe people. Chhabra reportedly even boasted of his close links with BJP’s top political leaders like party president JP Nadda and the RSS.
“The City Crime Branch team got a tip-off a couple of days ago that Chhabra will visit Rameshnagar in Karnal, Sector -13. We rushed to Haryana and with the help of Civil Line Police station officials nabbed him on Saturday night, “ said a Crime Branch official.
