The city's police force has disrupted the online drug trade, uncovering a network of social media accounts selling a variety of illegal substances, including marijuana, cocaine, hybrid ganja, vapes, heroin, meth, liquor and prescription pills. A comprehensive 45-page report details the activities of these accounts, along with their profile information.

The report pinpoints Ahmedabad, Surat, and specific areas like Alkapuri, Kareli bagh, and Vasna Road as major centres for this online drug activity. "Users openly discuss their experiences and inquire about drug purchases in cities like Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Vadodara on these platforms," said a police source.
